So You Have Chosen AP Psych
Do you know what sort of "animal" you are getting involved with when you chose AP Psych as a part of your course load for next year? Are you willing to wait in trepidation until September 2010 to find out about the course? Well, you don't have to wait! On Thursday, February 11^th at noon in Room 416, Mr. Young will address the requirements and expectations for AP Psych and will answer your questions about the course. See you there! (11) Young

Musical Theatre Auditions
Are happening soon! Please make sure you have signed up for an audition time outside of the drama room door by the end of this week. Vocal preparation (singing) sessions are being held on Friday, Jan. 5^th in the auditorium. We will work on vocal production/singing technique for the men who haven't sung before and the audition pieces for the women. Men will have their session at lunch in the Auditorium on Friday, and the women's session will take place after school on Friday, also in the auditorium. These are not mandatory but are to help those who feel they need it to prepare the audition material. See you there! (5) Collishaw

Girl Power Conference
The YWCA and Langara College students from the Recreation Leadership Program are offering this one-day opportunity to girls aged 11-14. Workshop topics include Health & Nutrition, Fitness, Careers, Education and Self Esteem. Date: Saturday, March 13, 10 am-3 pm. Cost: $35. Volunteers Needed
Grade 11 and 12 volunteers are needed for the "Girl Power Conference" on Sat., March 13. This will be held at the YWCA Vancouver, and supported by Langara Recreation Leadership Program students. An honorarium will be provided. Please contact girlpowerconference@shaw.ca, specifying your interest in volunteering.
